Mission,Vision & Values | History | Board of Directors | Frequently Asked Questions Easter Seals-Goodwill Northern Rocky Mountain is a private, nonprofit organization serving children and adults with autism and other disabilities, along with disadvantaged families in Idaho, Montana, Utah and Wyoming. Our mission of creating solutions that change lives is accomplished by providing direct services such as vocational and workforce development programs, autism services for young children, child care and preschool, adult day care, case management, home care, home health services, hospice, support groups, equipment loan, and information and referral assistance. The organization provides services in 23 communities across our four-state region and maintains Goodwill retail stores and job training sites in Montana and southern Idaho in nine locations. All of the organization's administrative operations, including accounting, development, information management services, human resources and payroll, are handled from the regional service center located in Great Falls, MT, which not only avoids duplication but also keeps administrative and overhead costs at a minimum. Though Easter Seals-Goodwill Northern Rocky Mountain is an independent, autonomous organization governed by a volunteer board of directors, it is affiliated with both National Easter Seals and Goodwill Industries International. In fiscal year 2007-2008, Easter Seals-Goodwill Northern Rocky Mountain allocated over 92 percent of its expenditures to direct programs and services for more than 18,000 children and adults with disabilities and disadvantages. More than 99 percent of funds Easter Seals-Goodwill receives remains in the four-state region to support community-based programs and services. |
